Yesterday, I gave my first-ever product demo (Iโm the only employee at Butter west of Europe, so we needed someone to cover more Western-friendly time slots ๐ ). Being more of a behind-the-scenes content person, Iโve never considered myself much of a salesperson so I was pretty nervous. But one of the two people I demoed to subscribed to a Pro plan today

Job search is still chugging along. But the real Elvira (my IRL career inspiration) liked one of my tweets. ๐
Made an offer to my top candidate for a full-time editor on my team. She accepted, and is starting Monday.
And Iโve had an intern for the last 10 weeks, she just told me she got a job offer on the strategic initiatives team at the Wall Street Journal.
Pretty thrilled for both peeps.
Still a loooooooooong way to go but Iโve made some good starter movement on organic keywords since joining Butter in November

superpath crossed 5,000 email subscribers recently. i felt like that was our second big email milestone (the first being 1k subs). email is still king for distribution, i'm pumped to keep building this list.
