• - How do y'all decide who to give the author byline on the blog? I usually lean towards the "best internal SME" for the topic. For example, for topics that are technical, we give the byline to the CTO/engineers since we've interviewed them, and if it's use-case related, we give it to product/marketing.

LOCAL CHANNELS ARE BACK
Hey @everyone I wanted to make a separate announcement post today to call out that we've brought back local Slack channels. These are available to all members of this Slack.
Why are we doing this? Part of our goal for Superpath in 2025 is to help content marketers make more real-world connections (I think we're all a little social/algorithm fatigued). We're also in the early stages of planning local Superpath meetups, so this will help us understand where we have the most membership.

Heyyy @everyone. I've already said Happy New Year last week but it still feels like I legally have to say Happy New Year, so Happy New Year. I mentioned in the newsletter today (and in a <#CJE58H0P2|> thread) that it feels like there are fewer new year's resolutions floating around this year. Am I wrong? Does anyone have any awesome resolutions? I'd love to hear 'em.

I want to put together a survey of the mainly-for-PR-purposes kind: Take a population (let’s say baristas for the sake of argument), survey them about things like pay, working conditions and experience, and then publish the results as industry insights. I have a set of questions I am fairly confident about, but I am really struggling with how to distribute this and gather responses. Has anybody done this? How did you do it?
