Hey gang! Does anyone have a good visual example of a Buyers Guide integrated on the product page, but strategically? Not just dumping a huge guide on the page, tho. I need to showcase some examples.
Edit: Also I’m looking to find some good UGC. Like genuine reviews or customer pictures of products. Ex: Since we sell furniture it’s interior pictures in our case.

Yes they have, on their homepage, but those are of course extremely bias like: “Eviivo is Godsend” etc. For now I’m relying on capterra and trustradius
#general - January 14, 2025 at 10:11 AM
Don’t know as well, they probably have something in mind when doing it..
#general - January 14, 2025 at 10:05 AM
To check G2,capterra,redit,trust radius

Forgot to say I am forbidden to say What Eviivo is lol, but I also got some good advice in the dms
#general - January 14, 2025 at 08:46 AM
Certainly but don’t have the time sadly. Deadline to finish it is tomorrow 😄

Hey Gang, I’m doing a test for a company I applied to work for. The form is a review of a PMS (Property Management System) called Eviivo. It is directed towards hoteliers, so: general hotel managers, departmental managers, hotel owners. I have the outline laid out but my question is: How can I write a good 300 word review if I haven’t used Eviivo myself? They even said I should write it without using it. I assume researching the reviews and eventually going through HotelTechReport is my go-to here? I’m aware the question may be a bit dumb, but I’m doing this the first time so not sure what’s the best way to approach it.

Thanks @Brinda Gulati @Sean Flannigan I’m definitely checking this out to find some golden nuggets. 🙏⚡

Hey Gang, anyone in the Ecomm space? I’m working on a strategy regarding email campaigns that we want to send to customers. Currently abandoned carts are the main issue, so I’m looking to hear some successful approaches, but also in general regarding customers that already bought. Any interesting story that increased the turnover is appreciated. The company I’m working for sells Scandinavian furniture. ✌️

I actually find clients through Linkedin, some through Superpath and some through referrals. I wasn’t drawn to Upwork or Fiver, although I know some people are thriving with Upwork.
#general - December 23, 2024 at 08:15 AM
I understand, this all makes so much sense. The thing is I’m not on Upwork, maybe thats why I didn’t get it right away. Still great strategy Phillip!

Marked that, btw I find problems with hourly rates as a whole, as I was mostly charging per word. The reason being there are various factors like: How extensive the research is, technicality of the subject matter, the level of editing needed, and the overall project scope. This allows for a more accurate reflection of the time and effort involved in each piece. However I do understand some clients just function like that.
#general - December 23, 2024 at 07:55 AM
This was devious… I think the question we should all ask ourselves is how to spot such a client in advance in order to avoid them, and not waste our time.

Love everything here! Especially coffee chats. You mean coffee chats with other writers?

Hey Superpathers, lately I’ve been having some free time in my 9 to 5 writing job as my ecomm retailer has entered into a “less work season” period. Is there any advice on how to productively use that time, to keep my writing skills sharp, keep up with the latest, or maybe do something else? I’d love to hear some useful and creative suggestions!
#general - October 21, 2024 at 11:32 AM
appreciate it!
#general - October 21, 2024 at 10:31 AM
Folks, don’t know if this is the right channel, but I’m wondering does slack have a feature to search for other communities? Not the search bar within Superpath, but the option to join other communities. I’m searching for interior design, home decor, and design communities at the moment.

Love that, I feel relationship building is a great way to put it! As a natural extrovert, who struggled with anxiety I wish you luck!
#freelance-talk - October 21, 2024 at 07:14 AM
I’d expand on this and ask what’s your take on best way to expand client network? Referrals and recommendations I recon? Or networking events maybe?
#general - September 02, 2024 at 08:27 AM
Thanks for the thoughts folks! Means a lot.
#general - August 30, 2024 at 01:49 PM
Hi all, what are some good platforms to make a great writing portfolio? I’m using Clear Voice, is that good or should I find a different one?Since I can just display my articles on it. Cheers.

@Huda sounds promising I’ll check it out!

Hey folks, what are some of the best copywriting/content niches to get into 2024 and onward? I’m writing for a Scandinavian furniture ecomm for 4 years, but wanted to get my clients and start working independently.
#freelance-talk - August 03, 2024 at 08:49 PM
I outreached to the same niche but figured out Scandi Furniture ecomms, mostly have in house teams.

Np hope it helps!

The correct answer is: You don’t but there is a great secret route to bypass it. I found a great yt video that explains it. If you have time check the first 15 to 20 mins of the vid you’ll find an answer. More effective than me explaining here.

Hi people! Has anyone had any experience with writing good effective prompts for SEO blogs and/or midjourney etc. I’m considering into getting into writing kick ass prompts and selling them, so I’m curious where to start.

Thanks @Prashanthi Kolluru great insight!

Hi folks 👋
If anyone needs strong SEO services with high quality contnet to boost your organic traffic we have 1 spot left at the moment. With 8 years of SEO experience and 4 years of content experience me and my friend work with clients, helping them reach their goals.
PM for more details.
Edit PS: We mainly do ecomm and SaaS
#freelance-talk - April 27, 2024 at 07:17 PM
Basically lead them through an AD copy and once they’re in the backend and became a lead notify an agent to follow up, but don’t know if SEO is more effective than SMMA.
#freelance-talk - April 27, 2024 at 07:12 PM
For SMM I usually see a strong copy that drives attention and then further directs the lead towards a free home buying educational guide. Basically educating them on the local market and things they’d wanna know when purchasing a home.
#freelance-talk - April 27, 2024 at 06:26 PM
Has anyone had any previous experience with realestate Social Media marketing and SEO. I have a friend in Miami that is about to run some SMM campaigns and she is not sure how big ROI she can provide within 3 months. I think SEO content is key here but I’d like to hear your thoughts.
Edit: Is SMM curcial at all for driving sales or should she switch on SEO entirely? Feel like SMM could just be for online presence and building trust.

Hi folks, I’m looking to update my portfolio, so I’m open to any advice. Lately, potential clients have said my CV and portfolio are great, but for some reason I don’t land the gig. I use clear voice. I’m confident in my writing skills, and I’ve started diving deeper into SEO lately, but I have trouble conveying that I’m the right person for the job. I write in-house for an ecomm brand while having some gigs on the side. Here it is:
#freelance-talk - March 25, 2024 at 07:51 AM
@Linsey Knerl Thanks Linsey, yes more about the technicals that will enhance my organic traffic, so anything that doesn’t have to do with actual content (Meta titles, H1s, 2s,…) and internal linking. We don’t do external linking tho.
#freelance-talk - March 25, 2024 at 07:50 AM
@Godwin Oluponmile not sure I get you here.
#general - March 21, 2024 at 03:23 PM
Quillbot by far, it’s a very simple yet effective tool.
#content-collab - March 21, 2024 at 03:22 PM
Hi folks, anyone in the furniture niche here? Mainly Scandinavian minimalism and mid-century modern, but anything related to furniture really.
#freelance-talk - March 21, 2024 at 03:02 PM
Hey folks, happy work week.
Im working on a cluster topic strategy for an E-commerce website that sells Scandinavian/mid-century modern furniture. The goal is to bring organic traffic to the main blog (a separate page) that will talk about interior design trends in 2024, while touching on each product in the content itself and how it can be incorporated into the interior(linking it to the interior design theme). Also internal linking will be heavy leading customers to relevant articles we wrote about different designs like Biophilic, French Country, Coastal etc.
Edit PS: Keyword research has been done thoroughly, through Keyword Planner. And Meta Titles, H1s, 2s etc have been adjusted accordingly. I’m just wondering are there some optimisations that are not directly correlated to content. I’m always doing SEO audit, but this is more along the lines of: Adding image thumbnails on SERP, etc…
#general - March 13, 2024 at 07:41 AM
@John Doherty Seems to me like I’ll need to make a new portfolio every time I’m reaching out to someone new. I’m not saying I won’t do it if it is necessary, but do you think it can be too much?
#general - March 11, 2024 at 07:42 AM
Great insight @Kevin Cyriac Tom I will do that!
#general - March 09, 2024 at 01:29 PM
Recently, I’ve been running into this one scenario where I’d apply for a writing job, and the employer would often say that my CV is great and impressive, yet they aren’t willing to move on. I’m starting to think it has something to do with how I structured my CV. I also have a portfolio on Clear Voice. Any thoughts?
This is happening because lately, employers are searching for very niche writers, and I don’t want to go in that direction.
I’ve been mainly in the ecomm for years now but can write much more broadly.
#freelance-talk - January 31, 2024 at 12:29 AM
@Theresa H wow. Well maybe this is the sign to start getting into it 👀
#freelance-talk - January 30, 2024 at 08:42 AM
@Theresa H “Your friendly neighborhood freelance writing nerd.” Peter Parker often refers to himself as: “Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman.” so I thought there was a pattern there.
#freelance-talk - January 28, 2024 at 04:31 PM
From what I’ve seen I can safely assume Ms Theresa is a fan of Spiderman. 👀🕸️

#freelance-talk - January 15, 2024 at 10:44 AM

Hi folks! Anyone here who had a chance to work for the big dogs of content like Animalz? What do they look for to consider you as a good candidate when it comes to merit? Is that better than working for a couple of clients independently?
