I really appreciate the recommendation and detailed response. Thank you!

Thank you so much! They also need to be registered in my state, is that right? Are there any websites you recommend to compare CPAs or just Google local search?
#general - October 21, 2024 at 08:23 PM
I'm looking for advice on vetting a CPA for a freelance business. What should I ask or look into?

@Carol J Alexander @Raleigh Norris - Thank you - completely solved my issue! I appreciate your help.

I want to have a view of just those people - the ability to view my customers' LinkedIn audience and their posts and happenings, without it being mixed together with the audiences of other pages I manage and my own. Perhaps a pipe dream?
#general - October 02, 2024 at 12:35 PM
Ugh, thanks. Since managing LI business pages is through your personal LI login, how do you get a view of your customers' audience? It's all mixed together on my feed and frustrating the heck out of me.
#general - October 01, 2024 at 09:12 PM
Question - is there a way to Tag or Group certain LinkedIn business pages together? To flag them in my feed? I have a client who owns a hedge fund. I've followed all of the investment company pages, and want a way to see at-a-glance, when that company shares to LinkedIn. Any ideas? I'd love a "view" per client. to separate their audiences out, within my feed. if that makes sense.

@Melissa, The CPA Who Writes I think you win for the treasure hunter side gig!

Thanks all! This is complete.

Any WordPress devs here, who can help with a quick need? A friend needs help removing a line of code from a custom-coded WordPress website for their client. She is worried she will break the website and they have a big conference on Thursday.

Thank you both - the call went well!
#general - September 24, 2024 at 01:59 PM
Hey, what are your favorite questions to ask on a discovery call? Context - this founder reached out to me and needs content writing support, but that is all the information I have.
#freelance-gigs - September 09, 2024 at 03:36 PM
Hey @Brendan Hufford - I also sent you an email and DM this morning.

Hey@Divya Agrawal - where do you see these offers in LinkedIn? Im a premium subscriber, but I haven't noticed them before.
#general - August 13, 2024 at 07:47 PM
Hey @Uzma Ambreen, I didn't use these, but I collected the ideas when I was starting out. (I ended up buying a Webflow template, but didn't build out a site).

• Clippings
• Journo Portfolio
• Authory

Thanks for this - I am looking for a new chair to improve back pain too!

It would also make it more difficult to understand what works well, for your more engaged group.
#general - August 08, 2024 at 03:53 PM
Your emails that perform well for the engaged group, demonstrate credibility to esps that your audience is engaged, your content is quality, and you're not spamming people. If you group it together, I think it will lower your rates overall, and there wouldn't be positive engagement metrics to offset it. I am not a deliverability expert, though.
#general - August 08, 2024 at 03:51 PM
You do not want to group them together.
#general - August 08, 2024 at 01:23 PM
I would review re-engagement best practices. Emailing the disengaged group - if they never open - will impact overall deliverability over time.
I would run a re-engagement campaign, perhaps with an incentive or a valuable content piece, and see how many can be re-engaged and moved to your engaged list. Those that do not engage over multiple sends should not keep receiving your emails, they aren't opening them/interested. You also could try a survey type email to see what kind of content they might be interested in or what their problems are, to better target that disengaged group.
If you have occasional broad interest sends (perhaps 1-2x a year), you could try to send to them to see if they re-engage, but overall, I wouldn't keep sending to those proving uninterested in hearing from my business.

Hey, in your opinion, should an Executive's LinkedIn About Summary be first person or third?
#general - May 15, 2024 at 08:36 PM
Thank you!
#general - May 15, 2024 at 08:26 PM
Hey @Elizabeth McFaul - thank you for the feedback, Does your estimate refer to this part specifically, since its ongoing monthly work (versus the profile re-writes would be one-and done)- Developing a content posting strategy/calendar 4) Writing LinkedIn post copy
#general - May 08, 2024 at 02:06 PM
Thank you @Mateah Kittle @Mary Kate Miller @Natalie Arney and @Milan Novotný! I hadn't even heard of some of these.
#general - May 03, 2024 at 02:49 PM
Thanks @Sara Gates would you mind sharing with me what you have charged or would recommend? Via DM if you are more comfortable.
#general - May 02, 2024 at 03:55 PM
@Erik Dietrich I love this answer, but the client has typically only gotten business through word of mouth and is starting from the ground up. It would be pretty hard to get him to quantify value - but a good approach to raising my rates later 🙂
#general - May 02, 2024 at 01:51 PM
Hello - I am looking for resources to properly price a LinkedIn strategy: 1) rewriting a LinkedIn Corporate Profile 2) Rewriting an Executive's LinkedIn profile 3) Developing a content posting strategy/calendar 4) Writing LinkedIn post copy. I see a lot of pricing guides for social copywriting, but it tends to be Facebook/Reels creation, etc. Does anyone have this priced out on their website, willing to share what they charge (US), or have resources they could share?
#general - May 01, 2024 at 05:52 PM
I love both of these answers. Thank you very much @Sara Gates and @Max Sundermeyer!
#general - May 01, 2024 at 03:55 PM
It does, thank you! When you say "how they should think about our industry" is this more thought leadership pieces, like industry trends, issues to solve, etc? @Max Sundermeyer

Hey, does anyone have strategies or advice for putting together a content/SEO strategy for a very niche audience? The client's solution is for people that sell on Instagram Live, the search volume on all related terms is low. Outside of product description content, how do you approach putting together a successful strategy?
#general - April 24, 2024 at 01:43 PM
Hello - what are your favorite low-cost SEO tools that provide:
• monthly or annual Search traffic volume / keyword competition benchmarks for keywords you add in
• Complimentary keywords/phrases/People Also Ask
• Anything else?
I've used SEMRush and did the free trial, but I don't want to pay $130 a month and the free plan doesn't give enough data. My understanding is Ahrefs is a similar cost, but I may be wrong.
#freelance-gigs - April 18, 2024 at 04:53 PM
I've previously worked with and recommend @Mirakle Monique. She would be a great fit for this!

@Elizabeth Bell Ill check them out - thanks!

Typically the conversations are happening through Instagram DM. So, my client is copying and pasting currently the right set of responses, based on the audience's criteria. The goal with the Guide (which does not need to be in a doc format necessarily), is to speed up this process by delivering the right set of responses. Ideally, we want to keep the experience in Instagram.
#general - April 08, 2024 at 05:33 PM
Hey, I have a client that needs an Onboarding Guide, but there are very custom parts to onboarding depending on a set of criteria. Outside of creating a guide per criteria set -- are there any tools that might enable this? I'm thinking 65% of the doc is the same, but then the person self-selects specifics about themselves, which then returns that version of the document? Like an interactive, modular doc - does anything come to mind?

Hey @Clark Herman thanks - these are great ideas! I will try them out.
#general - March 12, 2024 at 05:49 PM
Yes - blogs, landing pages - content that has a published URL on site's I don't own.
#general - March 12, 2024 at 05:16 PM
Hey - what approach do you take to get metrics around a content piece when you cannot go directly to the client? I'm currently using SEMRush to look up page performance, but I'm curious of what other people do to create case studies or work proof of your articles.
#general - March 12, 2024 at 05:15 PM
Hey @Aniruddh Jain - I've found you need to set clear expectations for your sales team that you only create content if it has multi-purpose use. Can it be repurposed and used multiple times by multiple stakeholders? Or are you writing a one-and-done piece that becomes a throwaway very quickly? For example, my team would request case studies for every possible industry, or a brand new PDF for every event, etc - and ultimately, we were writing and printing content that was only used for niche instances and thrown away. Usually, you can talk to them to understand what they really need and can use repeatably - and make those pieces really good and reusable.
