Hey all! I'm working on becoming incorporated and my accountant has advised me to have a couple of name options in mind just in case one doesn't work. Ever since I started freelancing, my website has been The Hardworking Creative because I feel like that encapsulates who I am. Would that work as a biz name? I don't have many ideas beyond that - maybe Hudson Content Marketing Co or something like that?

Hey all! I’m embarking on a project with my VA to clean up my internal processes and systems — create a file for each of my clients (with their invoice info, style guidelines, whatever), organize alllll of my clips into a nicer portfolio so I can easily pull links to send potential clients, etc. Anyone have tips or ideas that have worked for you on how to organize this kind of stuff?

What's your system for keeping track of client information - stuff like what payment method a certain client uses, or their style guide? I use Trello to keep track of assignments but I always find myself digging through a million email folders and Google docs to find the other stuff. Would love to get some ideas for a better system I could implement to keep it all straight - maybe a spreadsheet type situation?

I always take off the last two weeks of the year. I let clients know in late November, but with a lot of them, it doesn’t matter — they want to get projects done earlier in Dec, anyway.
