The coffee shop was nice, it was a good buzz which I like as I get too distracted if it's too quiet and because it's set up more TO work I felt like it had good outlets/chairs, etc.. The one in Melrose was VERY quiet the couple times I've been there, but I bought a 5-time pass so I'll be going there a few more times for sure, it's very convenient.
I absolutely loved the Seaport WeWork but couldn't stomach the fee. My work does pay for some of the coworking space but not all, and it wasn't worth it.

I have been going to the Capital One cafe a little bit in Seaport - it's free to work there, and if your a CO card member it's half off of coffees. I am considering trying out the WeWork in Charlestown too. And have been to a coworking spot in Melrose too (I'm in Malden).

ahh katie, I was trying to remember her name.

Side note. Were any of you in Boston Content? Is that a thing still?

Welcome, Caroline! I contracted for New Breed last year 🙂 What a great team you've joined!!

I believe we had an automated email blast to customers who gave us a high NPS, and then the marketing team helped draft a series of emails for CSMs to directly ask their clients as well. We had them add it to their email signature and got manager buy-in to train them on working it more into their customer syncs as well. I believe there was also an incentive attached to it that was sponsored by Marketing for the CX team.

For a global organization, G2 is likely a good investment, IMO.
#general - January 09, 2025 at 06:21 PM
^This. My old company had more of a relationship with Capterra vs G2 because of pricing and they saw more traction, particularly in the US market.

Check out podcasts & insights from these folks for starters -
- she has a podcast specifically for freelancers
also has a ton of great content around freelance work
#freelance-gigs - November 27, 2024 at 04:00 PM
Hiya! Any reccs for a reliable SEO freelancer? I'm thinking maybe 5 hours of work per week - we have ahrefs so things like:
-Helping us set up an API key to IndexNow
-Optimizing outdated posts (we have a list)
-Keyword research for net new data (I have writers to actually write)
-General audit for technical health
-Adding pages to our sitemaps for crawling
-etc etc
We can't hire someone in-house and I'm struggling to find the time myself so potentially going to pitch outsourcing this...MUST be U.S. based (company policy)

Just signed editorninja and so far two articles in, very pleased with them helping me with surface edits like sentence structure, proofreading, etc. They have varying levels so this is what I expected! Quick turnaround.
#freelance-gigs - November 22, 2024 at 03:58 PM
FYI - I've gotten several great applicants to this and have chosen who to move forward with, but I will likely have future projects! Thanks, all!
#freelance-gigs - November 22, 2024 at 03:57 PM
I think @Emma Siemasko and I may have chatted briefly when I was at Reward gateway ... that name sounds suuuper familiar!
#freelance-gigs - November 22, 2024 at 03:57 PM
Hi @Sangeetha Iyer Unfortunately we do, per company policy. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn though, I am always happy to meet more freelancers as I often find myself recommending people to others.
#freelance-gigs - November 22, 2024 at 02:33 AM
Thanks all! If not for this project, I may have plenty more work so appreciate you sending through portfolios etc. I'll be in touch with anyone who responds.
#content-collab - November 21, 2024 at 10:42 PM
Self promotion but we're pretty proud of the one at Compt that just got an overhaul! It's based entirely off our podcast rather than a link dump
#freelance-gigs - November 21, 2024 at 10:18 PM
I'm open to negotiate rates as well - I've only looked at 'from scratch' case study rates so pitch me as needed! We're in the HR tech space and will provide a starter pack on our product to prep.

I can talk your ear off about HR! Was at a tech company where HR was our primary buyer for years. DM me if you’d like.
#general - March 14, 2024 at 03:56 AM
What I’ve found is that for example, you could use a one pager that is more vertical or use case driven .. and then tweak just one or two things to make it feel more tailored to that prospect. So I would look backwards and think about the primary need and what you have or could create that could be more scalable.
#general - March 14, 2024 at 03:54 AM
Try to compromise on what “custom” means, is there a template that you can tweak to make these requests more scalable? Can sales provide you with any language from the prospect to quickly plug and play so it seems more custom than it really is? Lastly, can you get proof points that this custom collateral is truly what wow’ed them? The last bit could help you make the case for some extra support, especially if you go up the food chain and get sales leadership to support this as well.

For staff in-house I lived by asana and our editorial blog calendar lived in a robust Google sheet owned by our managing editor. Honestly, I just lived in spreadsheets for budgeting, freelance pipeline etc and then anything internal stayed in asana.
#general - March 06, 2024 at 01:28 AM
I am biased as I'm contracting there at the moment, but New Breed is a top Hubspot Solutions partner, depending on the size of the company they may be a fit.
#CJE3XC0H3-announcements - February 07, 2024 at 04:54 PM
Since “paid” has a diff connotation in marketing!
#CJE3XC0H3-announcements - February 07, 2024 at 04:54 PM
Ah, got it! My assumption was maybe there was a thread in the free ones I was missing. I haven’t explored as much as maybe I should 😅 maybe “member-“ @jimmy ?
#CJE3XC0H3-announcements - February 07, 2024 at 03:47 PM
Request! Is it possible to mark if these channels are all on paid or unpaid? I tried clicking into a couple and I don't have access assuming because I'm not a paid superpath member, but are any of these accessible otherwise? I need to get more active on here!

Congratulations @Jimmy Daly (Superpath) !

Hiya! I recently asked this on my LinkedIn and got some really great responses.

@Adil Ali Shah this might be TOO entry for you but I saw your note on the intro board and this might be good to build up your portfolio if you don't have clips yet!

I believe Seismic (a sales enablement platform that's often run by the content team internally) runs Shift both in the U.S. and in the UK, I wasn't able to attend the conference but as an avid user of Seismic I would take a look at when the next one is.

@Eric Doty (Superpath) if it’s any consolation, I thought you did that on purpose to get a laugh out of us… my resolution is to automate more to innovate more. Of course, also, to get a new job 🤪 where I can put all this into practice!
#pets - December 23, 2023 at 02:52 AM
Happy pawlidays from Leo! His groomer took this 😂
#general - December 14, 2023 at 10:18 PM
Ah this is super irritating!! I suggest though having your dev team hard code how you want each of these headers to look and feel and then have drop-down selection, because it changes on the backend of the CMS and can mess with your SEO strategy … you may need to go back and re-optimize posts though which is a pain, I know.

My former company Reward Gateway is an HR technology company specializing in recognition,
Communications and more. Depending on what tasks you need automated, may be able to support.
#general - December 08, 2023 at 05:25 PM
For case studies specifically look at adding in columns like industry, company size,
Products featured and you can pull together a good pivot table from there to see where the gaps are.
#general - December 08, 2023 at 05:25 PM
Sorry to crash the Amber party 😂 but I would do the same, also looking at your highest converting buckets on your website (by product type, resource type, etc) in both organic traffic and by paid traffic to see if the paid strategy reflects the organic needs (often it doesn’t) and then looking at conversion rates from each. Pulling your content into a spreadsheet and making columns for keep, delete, update is the easiest thing to do, making sure that the publish/last updated date is filled out and then understanding if any content before X date is even worth keeping.

We actually had a LOT of success with this in variations of our target product keywords, optimizing the hell out of our topic pages and linking some in the footer, keeping them in our html site map for crawling. I would of course limit the time spent on this based on your resource and priorities, but this was a useful tactic for us in b2b, specifically on act-cycle KWs.
