If the review criticizes the product in a constructive way, all good. The product has 1,000+ (non-incentivized) reviews on TrustPilot, so I'm making an educated guess here on the distribution of outcomes

Not interested in anything artificial. Writers get free access and can make their own judgements.

These products tend to get surface coverage by affiliate marketers who don't actually use the product. Just hoping to have more comprehensive reviews created here.

Yes, red flag.

I feel like the time to request payment was prior to working on the assignment.

I understand your frustration, but now you're in a situation where you knew the terms (a ton of unpaid work) and went ahead and complied.

At this stage, I would not feel comfortable "demanding" payment or commenting on the unrealistic amount of free work... despite it absolutely being ridiculous.

If you end up winning the client, I'd be clear about setting boundaries moving forward for sure.
