Hi All, I am looking for an email marketer focussed on building out newsletters, preferably based in Mumbai, India (not because of the pay parity, but for better collaboration), since I have a short window to revive a weekly newsletter series for a tech SaaS client. Work starts mid-July.

Curious to understand what the pay ranges are (@Jimmy Daly (Superpath) @Eric Doty (Superpath) I don’t if there is a pay range agreed upon for newsletters, but I obviously support the 10c/word ) , The scope would be a minimum 10-12 email sequence with a potential to extend further.

Depends on the niche @Julie Simpson - I would recommend packaging the pricing in groups:

• Running a content audit
• Decide if the first batch of rewrites are light or need depth
• if there are other optimizations to be done across the site like internal linking or a change in topical clustering
• Batch these updates into the groups based on the 1st 3 points

@Jessica McKeil you might also add building a Clutch presence to the list, and collecting prior client testimonials to put up on the site. I know others who have built content agencies mentioning their Clutch presence has worked well for them.

You could use a testimonial collector like testimonial.to.

Folks - I understand that attributing podcast listenership or distribution to awareness-based traffic to your business might be a dark art at this point. How do you folks build the case for investing time and resources into launching the first 10-15 episodes of a podcast series? I am assuming it is no different from build the case for an inbound content strategy, but how do you prove the market for it?

@Dominic Kent As a beginner in video editing, Camtasia was easy to get started and working with a very short learning curve for me. The one-time price point is also a good deal for the value you get.

It does not allow for a lot of sophistication and is also pretty buggy (depends on the version you use), so might not be relevant for complex video workflows.
