Generative AI is discussed incessantly. What’s not discussed are the biases in generative AI.

Well, my social impact communications agency Better Together is changing that. Today, we launched the results of our Biases in Generative Artificial Intelligence Survey.

The survey highlights biases in generative AI and how companies can address them. The research highlights challenges and the solutions needed to create a more just and equitable environment through unbiased generative AI.

While 77.24% of respondents are familiar with what generative AI is, many expressed concerns about perpetuating racism, sexism and classism that is already prominent in society. This data reflects collective anxiety about how generative AI widens societal gaps rather than removing barriers.

Our survey found:
• 221 respondents highlighted concerns about racism in generative AI.
• 180 respondents were worried about sexism.
• 156 voiced fears about classism affecting generative AI outcomes.
Better Together is using these insights to guide corporations and policymakers in creating generative AI tools that are aware of their social impacts.

Agree about the webinars. I receive alerts about them and although most I can't join, it does remind me about the group. Also, LinkedIn sometimes prompts me to repost a post on a group channel, which I usually do. I don't know why or when LinkedIn does that but I'm sure it helps with engagement. Overall, not sure LinkedIn is the best platform for a group. Still seems that Slack or Circle is the best for community engagement.
