Hey, all! When a prospect from cold outreach responds with an email providing you with an overview of what they're looking for in a blog post and a request for a flat rate, do you respond with your rate or do you ask for their budget?
My business coach is telling me to toss it back to them, but they tossed it back to me and asked again for my rate again when I did. I prefer to be transparent.
What's the norm here?

It depends on the level of service you want and the experience/quality of work you want from the freelancer.
I would budget anywhere from $500-$1000 per blog post. The more you pay, the more extras you'll probably get (meta descriptions, sourced photos, subject matter expert interviews, professional edits, etc..).

I love it! It's very hands-off for me. It's easy to create collections of content and embed your portfolio into your website.
And Eric from Authory is very responsive if I run into any issues. They usually fix it and then teach me how to take care of it in the future.
