I use
and find spending an extra minute or two on my source request really helps with getting exactly what I want.Eg. A few comments in response to a question or two vs. a full-on interview.
The amount of responses has gone up lately—they have more hands-on people helping match reporters with sources.
Also: you can set up both a reporter profile and a PR user profile. You just have to use two different business emails. It's been a great way to build backlinks for my smaller, newer clients.

Hey all! I'm based in Boise. Anyone else? I don't see any MST local times 🙂

When you have a client that is a stickler about writing, a style guide is a necessity. I wish branding/marketing companies would understand it's not just about the visual brand guide—there's a need for a voice/tone/style guide as well!

Keyboard athlete—love that! I will tell you in no uncertain terms, be sure to do glute exercises every day. After sitting on my tush for many, many years from being a commuter and keyboard athlete, I now have serious problems with my hip flexors. Walking doesn't mitigate (I used to get my 10k steps in a day, and often double that, now I'm lucky if I can manage 5k.)

I go by AP style (one word startup). It's also one word in Webster's New World College Dictionary (5th Edition).
