I am increasingly getting prospective clients asking for me to give them a breakdown of hours spent writing a newsletter, blog post, social post, and case study. Does anyone have a go-to response here? I dont want to over or under-sell my work.

This is great. I was just accepted into their program and was curious if others here had experience. Great to hear from the source on how it works!

I meant more for a creator or writer to use them to acquire freelance gigs, less as a company looking for talent.

Has anyone had experience working as a freelancer with MarketerHire? Curious your thoughts!

Id love this

Thought the same thing from reading this JD. There are a ton of asks in there, far more than a part-time gig would allow someone to successfully do them. Why do companies skimp like this and on outward-facing content?

Anyone have experience working on email marketing / performance? If so, may have a lead on a gig. Bonus for working in financial services world.

Haha! I had no idea you were in Vail. I think a content collab confab meetup is in order.

Hello everyone,

I am so excited to be part of this group. My name is Taylor Pipes and I am a director of Content for Human Design, a full-service agency in Boulder. I came into content marketing following college education in journalism. In grad school, I got my master’s in journalism with a specialty in documentary film and when I finished in 2008, I had a harsh welcome to the professional world during a recession. Nothing is more deflating than taking a role at a job that isnt your background but I was able to reinvent my resume to be editorial-focused and started a series of content roles at startups in the Bay Area including Zinio, Scribd and Evernote.

I have truly enjoyed a career in content and have learned a lot about how impactful storytelling can help attract and engage consumers, but also excite employees as well. I believe everyone has a remarkable story and that all of us here in this group have the ability to do great things with an art of storytelling that has been around for centuries. The magic is when we get that realization. Happy to be here and happy to connect with and collaborate!
