I'm on a bit of hiatus from running at the moment, but I've done three half marathons and am a big proponent of 80/20 zone training (aka I am slow and proud, lol)

@Deedi Brown do you do HR training? i've been mostly doing 80/20 for the last few years. i still mostly use a chest strap bc my watch wrist HR is just all over the place

Yes! The first time I internalized that I could actually go out and run in Z2 and it was a) productive and b) not miserable was life changing

I'm still using my apple watch but I have an arm strap for my iFit treadmill and they're generally in sync! Also it was nice that my treadmill has a max HR test feature, because I learned my max HR is 203 😱 (220 minus my age, yeah right lol)
