Wondering how much experienced content marketers are charging for brief creation at the moment? I've got an opportunity to expand a contract with a current client, but slightly unsure of how much to charge. I suspect it'll involve ideation, a bit of strategic planning, and then actually sitting down and writing up the brief.

^ That’s about what I charge, unless it includes heavy lifting on the strategy side. I expect to do a bit of keyword research, ideation, etc., but I also expect that they’ll already have some prioritization / strategy in place to work from.

And to that end, “brief” varies a LOT from client to client. So I think it kind of depends on how much the client is including in their brief too. Some clients send me briefs that are a half-page, others have like 9-page briefs, so… it depends 🥴
