Hello, I'm ghostwriting for one of the top rated marketing agencies in the US. It's a freelance role and we have specific set up topics every month. Do I need to speak to them before I feature this "new job" on LinkedIn?

Asking their permission is the best course of action. Many agencies avoid mentioning non-native speakers to their clients. It affects their standing.

I would also add that the purpose of ghost writing is to hide/ disguise the actual author. So if you the writer exposes the arrangement without the clients permission, that would defeat the purpose of the relationship and maybe get you in trouble
