Anyone an expert on buying domain names for cold email campaigns?

I am looking at domains at GODaddy and getting some errors such as "No SPF record" back for some that are for sale.

Here's an example:
https://mxtoolbox.com/emailhealth/cegsolutions.co/

Should I be concerned?

Well, kinda - I'd at least run them all through a blacklist checker

@Michael Buckbee what checker do you recommend?

@Catherine Woodard - you're already on https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx

@Catherine Woodard SPF is something you need to set up yourself based on whatever email provider/service you decide to use (e.g., Gmail/Google Workspace). So it’s not a concern that a domain doesn’t have it.

For cold email outreach, you’ll also want to set up DKIM and DMARC records, too.

@Catherine Woodard Also, why not just buy catwoodard.net or catwoodard.co and use that for outreach? You’ll likely be the first person ever to purchase them so they surely won’t be on any spam blacklists.

Well, the purpose of the cold email spam domains is that they’re “pre-warmed”

I do own that domain
