Wooo hoo! Howdy folks.
I was recently talking to a colleague about organizing some meetups in SF and curious to know a bit more about the content marketers in the Bay Area — where are y'all located, what types of get-togethers do y'all typically enjoy, etc.
Right now I know of one, a Wednesday breakfast series put on by from Fenwick.

Nice to see you here (though not too surprising since I think you were the one who put Superpath on my radar in the first place). 🙂 I’m based in Oakland but certainly down to come to San Francisco for events. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a local content marketing event, so I can’t say I have a particular preference— I’m pretty open to different formats like lectures or more casual gatherings. Excited to see what other folks have to say!

I live in Oakland as well and love the idea of in-person get togethers. I helped run the east bay freelancer's union spark meetups for a few years and it was a great way to build community and make connections! We had monthly meetings with specific topics and guest speakers, along with some time to network before/after. I feel like that worked well, although finding a space and the speakers can be difficult...
