Project Manager Wizards - I need your help! 🪄

I use Monday.com, Slack, and Zapier.

I want to create an automation through Zapier where every Monday at 7am it looks at the Project Board in Monday.com and creates a list of every item due that week and then pushes a message to Slack Channel with what items are due this week.

This is meant to help facilitate our Monday standup in identifying what is due this week, next week, etc.

Exact instructions might need to be tweaked a bit but I bet you could set this up. Seems straightforward enough. https://chatgpt.com/share/e5d65349-d2d5-4066-bfed-f80ef40226fa

If you run into an issue I'm happy to take a look and see if I can help.

i dont know why but monday isnt fetching the date for me for some reason... but creating a new column w/ status and running automation to update the status to this week / next week / queue based on their date - will allow us to accomplish this task 🙂

HI @Matt Mroczek

I know I am probably late and you might have fixed this but another option you can look into for this is make rather zapier, it gives more flexibility when it comes to operations

@Kelvin hi! what's the tool? always curious to try something new 🙂

Kelvin June 24, 2024 at 06:46 PM

@Matt Mroczek its called Make, https://www.make.com/en , its basically in my opinion a better and cheaper version of zapier, which also allows to integrate different apps and run automations where needed

Reason why I know it's because I am a project manager with a passion for automation so I been using different tools

Oh damn... i was hoping this was gonna be a new tool I hadnt heard of 🙂
Appreciate it and we use make a lot.
When its shared within our organization we use Zap since its easier for a newbie to follow along
Thanks again for chiming in 👍
