Hey, does anyone have any recommendations specifically for Mass-based tax consultants? I’d prefer someone independent as I’ve had less than stellar experiences with e.g. H&R block etc.

Hopefully, you don't need it today! 🌻 One way that was suggested to me to find other local professionals if I didn't know them was to ask my local insurance agent. They deal with everyone in town. Hope that helps!

Several MA-based freelance friends have recommended this group highly to me. The owner’s name is Mark and he was super helpful when I was trying to decide whether to do my taxes on my own or get an accountant for this year. They work with freelancers / small businesses and know those tax concerns well and offer tax prep as well as more ongoing consulting / etc.
