I’d love to hear what your personal favorite tools are for managing content planning/project management as well as editorial calendars.

i'm old school. i honestly just love a google sheet with picklists

have a color-coded stage associated with each picklist item so you can jump into the content calendar and quickly understand the stage each piece is at --and more importantly the bottlenecks!

I love a good spreadsheet too. How far up does that scale for you/your clients in terms of content volume/# of pieces you’re publishing at a given time?

good question! i find it tends to break around 8 articles per month. then we need to move to something more robust like Asana or Trello

I lvoe both of those tools too

We’ve done the color coded spreadsheets for tracking content production and those were awesome and super handy. Kept us from having to do constant check-ins.
