Hello! This one's for the editors: when you were getting started and/or making the switch from writer to editor, how did you show your individual value to the business' bottom line?

My company is focusing on conversion and engagement metrics for the blog (my area), but I'm struggling to work out where attribution goes to the writer, or distribution, versus my contributions as an editor. I'm currently doing @Ryan Law's fantastic editing course — so the notion of editing as a way to improve a piece's business value is front of mind — but I would love to hear how others have demonstrated their impact as an editor in the long-term.

Hope everyone's having a great week

Hey Tara - tracking conversions (e.g. trial sign ups, demos booked, etc.) from individual blogs is very volatile and depends on the content type you create.

I generally focus on tracking realistic nos. for the following KPIs:
• organic traffic to content pages
• leads/MQLs collected from pages (via lead magnets, newsletter opt-ins, etc.)
• newsletter metrics like open and click through rates
