I'm researching an article on content measurement (for Relato). I'd love to hear from you all on the following: 1) What are the right metrics to measure for content? Which ones are a waste of time? 2) Why do content people get so stressed out about measurement? 3) Has the way you measure content changed in recent years, and if so why?

iam getting roi of 10-20%

Here are some metrics I would measure for the content we create at my company:
Blog:
• No. of featured snippets
• No. of posts featured in the People Also Ask section on Google
• No. of downloads of any gated assets on the blog
Social:
• No. of registrations driven via content posted on social for an event
• Engagement with the ICP - comments and reposts
• No. of demo bookings
Other forms of content would include collaterals for when you participate in an event. But I'm not sure if you want that. Plus that would vary industry wise.
