Hi folks, I’m creating some linkedin articles answering important questions about ChatGPT. My first piece is about the fate of Google’s search business and I’d like to include some insights from marketers here.

i think the ads will move from search to the browser, and since google controls both, google's business with survive, though not as a search engine.
google will also try to compete with chatgpt. they already show featured snippets, so they'll just do more of that, on top of integrating chatgpt-like features in the android keyboard, gmail, and anywhere else they dominate.
they will probably also sue openai, because why not.
Thanks @jayen. I especially find your first take interesting and didn’t think about the suing part. What do you think they’d sue for?
