Hi everyone, has anyone used ChatGPT in their writing process?
What would you say are its limitations?
Iād love to include your thoughts (from your experience) in an article Iām writing on this topic. (currently scheduled to go up on LinkedIn).
Thanks in advance for responding.

I used ChatGPT and Playground for some basic ideation. I think their biggest limitation is that most of the content/responses seem too obvious and regurgitated, doesn't tell me anything I won't find on a featured snippet or the first two search results. So, good topic research is almost entirely absent.
Besides, I feel like it takes too much effort to write a solid prompt that creates decent content. I referred to a few of the many ChatGPT guides floating on the internet and the good prompts were pretty effort-intensive. I mean, I'd prefer using all that time and effort to conduct research on my own and write + edit a draft.
I also found that ChatGPT produces several false, made up responses. For example, I asked for case studies for a piece on SaaS conversion rates and mentioned that each case study should have an original source. The tool came up with totally fictitious responses and broken links. I was shocked. Every case study had the same set of words with some different numbers.
