Hey everyone! I’m writing an article on daily reflection exercises that help you to be more intentional with your work and looking for knowledge workers (especially marketers, founders, and freelancers) to share insights. Do you have any reflective exercises you’d like to share—something that has significantly impacted your work? Happy to link back to your website of choice with due credit! 😊

Hey Rochi, I start my day with these 3 things and it has helped me a lot:
• Penning my morning thoughts- what's the feeling I woke up with? It helps me in understanding myself better.
• Gratitude- We all have our stress and problems but when I focus on my blessing it helps me remove any negative feeling from my morning.
• Writing my goals- I write my goals for the day with a WHY statement. Why is this important to me? What will happen if I don't do this?
This 3 step morning routine has helped me to focus on my work with a reason.
I hope this helps 🙂

I meditate, yoga, and journal every evening pretty much without fail. The practice and routine helps me feel incredibly calm and grounded which helps me show up to my work in a more balanced and clear-headed way. Feel free to shoot over a DM if you want to chat more about this!

Ooooooh I love this!

The absolute most impactful things I have found:
• Start each morning off by journaling (I will actually sometimes just post these on my IG Story) 3 things I am grateful for
• Writing a letter to yourself about why you provide the services you do, how they help people, and how you help them be better - and then read it to yourself when you feel impostor syndrome pop up or you just need a pick-me-up
• A vision board, it is totally goofy to some people (to me...I felt so goofy putting it together), but it made me realize some very important things about myself in terms of my business and financial goals that I can then use as markers to see if I'm on the right path
◦ Happy to share this point here: my dad would take me to the gas station all the time to get one of those gnarly roller hot dogs or tornadoes or grillers or whatever they called them. Those were special trips to me growing up. Simple, but impactful. Making my vision board, I realized I wanted to get to the point where I could go to a gas station and buy some unhealthy awful thing on a whim - and I wasn't there yet to where I could. in good conscience, blow $5 here and there on gas station snacks. So now it is a goal of mine to always be able to say, "Heck yeah, let's go to UDF and get something" without any hesitation
Hope this all helps! Feel free to DM if you have any questions or want to get more feedback/answers/stories of going to the gas station with my dad
