Hey everyone,
I'm writing an article on "How to spice up your virtual event Q&A," and I would love to get quotes and insights from people with firsthand experience running virtual events.
I was hoping to get quotes on the following:
- What's the most creative way you've seen attendees engaged during a virtual Q&A session?
- Do you have any tips for how event organizers can get attendees more involved in a virtual Q&A?
- How do you structure your virtual Q&A sessions to make sure everyone stays engaged? Your responses can be as brief or as detailed as you like. Also, please feel free to share any additional insights or tips that you think would be helpful for readers. I'll make sure to link back to you :))

One of the ways to make lives interactive and have the attendees participate is by setting the mood. You can do this by (a) showing it on your promotional posts from the graphics to the captions, (b) presentation design, and (c) background music at the intro while waiting for more participants to join.
• on a: this helps in setting their expectations. will it be fun? will it be corporate-ish? will it be vibing?
• on b: it helps them want to keep paying attention
• on c: it makes them feel connected, especially when the song played is one they know of
As per the event structure, you can squeeze in ice breakers once in a while that may or may not be related to the subject at hand just so the attendees can be hyped up
Hope these help!
