Hi folks! Anyone uses emojis in their content? I was trying it out in one of my pieces and I feel it does enhance the tone I’m going for but I’m not sure if it’s appropriate enough.

I'm not sure if this is what you're going for, but TikTok just released a how-to guide for brands and it uses emojis. https://www.tiktok.com/business/en-US/blog/tiktok-creative-ultimate-guide

My personal opinion, as long as they are not over-used, emojis can be a fun way to add some more personality to a content piece. It also depends on the audience and the purpose of the piece.

We use emojis a lot in social media copy/captions, and sparingly in email subject lines, but not in body copy for the blog or newsletter. I think it depends a lot on your brand voice and what you’re going for.

I've used them similarly as @Irene Keliher. Recently I've been researching content accessibility - i.e. how screen readers or text-to-speech programs read emojis in content. It's pretty interesting, and has changed my view on how to use emojis. I've tried to apply these recommendations for content in my current role: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/accessibility-matters-alexa-heinrich/

Depends on the client voice, but a definite yes for lead magnets and social media. We also use gifs in our more quirky client pieces.

We use them in blog posts to highlight stuff. For example 👉Download your free template here 👈 I think it helps.
