Some general advice for those taking time off over the holidays, and trick that's served me well over the years: if you work with freelance writers they typically experience a down period for work in Dec/Jan. I use this time to assign them as much as they can take on so I move into the New Year not scrambling for content, but doubling down on making an impact on business goals. Also, your freelancers will love you for getting them paid in a typically slow period.
