Hey everyone - Happy Easter! I’m Oli, one of the co-founders of, Make Waves (). We’re on a mission to make sustainability accessible to all, starting with our award winning refillable Antiperspirants! We’re proudly 100% UK made, vegan friendly, cruelty free and 1% for the Planet members.
Before Make Waves, both Owen (co-founder) and I worked in finance (VC / M&A / Big 4) and for our sins are both boring accountants, so if you have any finance based questions, please reach out.
Our goal is to build a brand that blends performance, sustainability, and design - without compromise! It’s a privilege to join the community (thanks @Patrick Crowley), really looking forward to connecting, contributing and learning from others.

Great to be a part of this community.
I'm Elliot, the founder of EGL Group, a UK company that focuses on creating personalised gift propositions. Our two main brands are Engravers Guild () and Lovelox (), with EG being a generalised gift website selling anything that can be personalised (e.g. engraved watches, jewellery, bags, hip flasks, etc.) and LL specialising in lockets.
We're a team of about 10 at the moment and have just moved to new premises which gives us scope to do a lot more. We're looking to launch a men's jewellery brand and also scale our existing offers over the next 18 months.
Outside of work I love playing sport and theatre. My girlfriend has also got me on a bit of a wellness journey as well.
I haven't made it to one of the meet-ups yet, but looking forward to meeting you in person.

Hi All - great to be part of the Venice community.
I'm the CEO of Matrix Brands () - we have a portfolio of Beauty, Health and Wellness brands including Arkive Headcare () and Cowshed ().
We have a new brand in incubation which we're planning to launch later in 2025 - more details to follow.
We do £60m in revenue and have traditionally been wholesale first - we're growing and learning in the world of Ecomm, Social commerce and platforms. Our brands are distributed in the UK, EU, Aus, US and China.
We're based in Central London but I commute in from Barcelona most weeks where I live with my partner and 2 amazing children. I love to ski, play tennis, I'm learning Padel and I love all things food and wine.
