Anyone here knows how to discover the Shopify Payout Balance Amount for a specific day back in time? We need to figure this out for 31 Dec 2024, to complete our annual statements. However, Shopify is not providing this information. As we all know, Shopify collects all revenue and pays it out once a working day, so there is always a holding balance.

@Martijn Bohncke, I was wondering if the 1.5% payout fee (for our USD account) is the amount of expenses as working again with only the EUR account. If I’m correct, that is only the 1.5% for currency exchange, but no 1.5% payout fee. Yielding to the same level of cost

Hi All, we always had the situation that shopify paid our USA (USD) revenue in Euros to us, leading to many high conversion fees. To solve this, we created a USD bank account, so we could receive this without the conversion fee to EUR. However, suddenly, we see that shopify is also charging 1.5% for this second bank account. Anyone also experienced this and solved it perhaps? What is the best set up

I also recognise the importance of everyday checking this yourself, in most brands, adspent is the biggest expense within the P&L, and need to be checked carefully. Additionally, building the right funnels / ads is likely the most impacting activity on generating revenue. We normally advice this as one of the last tasks to outsource. Perhaps good idea to first outsource other things so you all have more time for this. I have seen, unfortunately, many brands losing money due to agencies. We are expanding our USA warehouse, so we reduce tariffs to COGS, not revenue. We almost break even on it with cheaper shipping rates from US-US. Also we will raise prices by 5%. However, we are still, in that case, cheap compared to our USA local competitors
