I'm looking for a low cost offshore video production firm aka content creators. Any recommendations?

Does anyone know what credit card has the best cash back/perks/points in Canada?
#general-chat - December 29, 2023 at 01:13 PM
@Zohaib Rattu this is great information. I'll let you know if we need anything else. Thank you very much

@Zohaib Rattu Interesting. How would this work like only pay like $15 if someone spends $300 or more?
#general-chat - December 28, 2023 at 04:25 PM
Sorry I mixed that up. Social Snowball is an affiliate program, but not a creator database and we wanted a platform that has both. We do use share a sale and Shopify collabs currently.
#general-chat - December 28, 2023 at 03:58 PM
Got it. What % do you recommend for consumer electronics? Keep in mind our average selling price is $300 per unit? By the way what brand do you work for?
#general-chat - December 28, 2023 at 03:50 PM
@Dan Staub Awesome feedback. Do you mean 6% is too low in terms of a commission rate? We have seen that most influencers that are like under 100,000 will do a review without a fixed fee, which is why we only put a $200 budget here. How do you go about manually finding influencers? We looked at social snowball, but it doesn't have an affiliate part to pay the influencers their commission.

Influencer Platforms: We are looking to work with one starting this month to get 10-20 USA based influencers with 100,000-1,000,000 followers to review our baby monitors and security cameras per month that have some credibility in those respective spaces. We will pay affiliate commissions of around 6% and our ASP’s are $300. Ideally we don’t want to pay them any fixed fees as well, but are open to to pay up to $200 for high quality influencers in addition to the affiliate commission. Our goals are to drive sales primarily from the influencer reviews directly with a secondary objective of getting content to repurpose into ads to drive more sales and lastly use these for social proof throughout site and social channels.
We have tried minisocial, social cat, Shopify Collabs and influencer candy so far, but these junior platforms haven’t been successful for us.
We are willing to spend more to work with stronger mid size platforms, but hate the yearly contract lock in some of these platforms have and prefer a month to month deal.
Can anyone help with insight for platforms they have “actually” worked with that might suit our needs? Looking to hear specifically about pricing and pitfalls on any of these providers and any feedback on how to run a successful influencer campaign would be awesome as well. Thank you very much for any help! :)

@David S Thank you! Have you used this service? Can we say pay a factory vendor $200,000 via this company and settle with my credit card?
#general-chat - November 25, 2023 at 01:55 PM
Credit Card for Wire Transfer: Does anyone know of a service that allows you to use your credit card to make a wire transfer? I heard of this on a podcast, but totally can’t find the one I heard it on. Thank you

@Prateek Jain Hi! How much did you pay per t-shirt and hoodie?
#general-chat - October 07, 2023 at 01:16 PM
@Dexter Da Silva We used it a few months ago and it wasn’t a good return on investment. We wouldn’t repeat with them. It cost $2000 for like 27 video reviews. Going forward we are just going to pay larger influences like $500 each + affiliate commission to get stronger videos

Awesome. Thank you Natasha!

@Kyle Adelman This is helpful. Thank you so much
#amazon - August 23, 2023 at 03:23 PM
@Cata Anghel Our consultants said like they have 10 other companies doing this. Have you had a bad experience with something like this?
#amazon - August 16, 2023 at 01:44 PM
@Kyle Adelman Thank you for the heads up. Anyway you know of to submit deals if we missed the deadline?
#amazon - August 15, 2023 at 07:55 AM
@Phil Li This is a good one. We use this strategy currently. After we make variations and are awaiting the vine units to be collected we increase our selling price by 100% so that our vine units aren’t purchased by regular customers, as our vine units are very expensive due to air shipping. Do you know if you can do more vine reviews after a product has been on Amazon for like a year?
#amazon - August 14, 2023 at 07:53 PM
@Phil Li yes please.
#investment-talk - August 13, 2023 at 10:13 PM
How much?
#amazon - August 13, 2023 at 10:10 PM
Thank you @Stephanie Danforth and @Fames Chocolates These are help point of views

Amazon Reviews: Our agency recommended this service
to get more reviews on Amazon. Has anyone ever used it? Is is Amazon TOS compliant?#paid-media - August 09, 2023 at 09:12 AM
@Alicia Gan Have you used YOCTO and Emailtize? What are the specific costs for this service? Ps. We are speaking to June tomorrow. Thank you for the intro. 🙌
#paid-media - August 09, 2023 at 09:10 AM
@Jared Holstad How much do you pay for the service you use? We are looking to see if outsource will yield better results than in house.
#jobs-and-talent - August 07, 2023 at 01:37 PM
Sure that would be great. Thank you
#general-chat - August 07, 2023 at 01:21 PM
@Zohaib Rattu @Alicia Gan Do you have in house support as well? Any advantages and disadvantages of Talentpop? How much do they charge you and how many agents do you have with them? Thank you
#jobs-and-talent - August 07, 2023 at 12:32 PM
Offshore Hiring Does anyone have specific tactical advice on hiring offshore talent for customer support? We are looking to hire people directly to our company with the use of agencies etc. We want to do this to lower our costs and provide support 24/7 with a faster response time. If anyone has an SOP or interview guides or best practices that would be so great. Thank you
#paid-media - August 07, 2023 at 12:26 PM
@Jessica Postiglione We have a small one we use in Buffalo, NY, USA, but they are very expensive, as they charge like $7 or so to ship each unit to the end customer and like $5 for each pallet in/out and like $15 storage per month for each pallet. We only use them on our products that have a retail over $1000, as for all the lower priced products they aren’t worth it and we handle those directly. You need to really shop around to find one that is cost effective, as many overcharge. Would love to know pricing, as you come up with it though and where they are located. I can share issues we have had with 3PL’s over the years so you can avoid going through the same issues we had.
#general-chat - August 07, 2023 at 12:22 PM
This is a super interesting thread. We have 5 people on our customer support team in Canada, but are growing and want to offshore new team members for basic tier 1 support to cover after hours and get back to our D2C website and Amazon customers faster. How much do these services charge per hour and how do you ensure the quality of support is excellent?
#paid-media - August 07, 2023 at 12:15 PM
@David Baker What platform did you move over to?
#amazon - August 07, 2023 at 11:56 AM
@Phil Li Please share! Thank you in advance

Product Bundling: I need some advice please. We sell our products on many retailers, Amazon and our brand websites. We offer exclusive packages that are a marginal price increase to what the retailers sell our kits at on our direct sites, but offer better value, as we throw in a 2 year warranty and some extra accessories. We do this to try to convert more consumers on our direct sites, rather than at the the mass merchant retailers, but consumers are confused about these “exclusive bundles” like the value in them so we want to call this category something more obvious on our sites? Any ideas for me?
#everything-marketing - July 31, 2023 at 09:33 AM
@Jesse Tilner Any thoughts for me? Thank you so much for your help in advance brother!

Shopify Payment Processing Fees: We pay 3.15% on our Shopify + and feel this is way too much. Anyone know how to negotiate this down and been successful in doing so?

Just put in big bold letters when the product ships like August 10-20 on the product page and then again in the cart. This is the simplest way to handle it.
