Hello guys. I have a question regarding some data disrepency from META to GA4.

I am just wondering if you sometimes see a significant data disrepency when you optimize for LPV? Looking in the business manager I can see that we have had 340 LPV yesterday. All these clicks are likewise tracked with UTM links and looking into the GA4 I can only see 43. I know that there is a natural discrepancy at 10-15% but I haven’t seen this before and I usually don’t optimize for LPV.

I have reached out to META pro support, but they can’t really help here and state the following:

“Facebook count everytime a user click the CTA button and routed to your Landing Page they can do that multiple times and it is counted on your Adsmanager. On Google analytics it will only counted per session it doesnt matter how many time the user click and go to the landing page as long as the session is not yet expired it will still counted as 1 click on GA4. If the user clicks on the ad but the page fails to load (e.g., due to slow internet or user abandonment), no session is recorded”.

The above is obvious and not to much help

How are you guys structuring you BF setup?

I got this newsletter yesterday saying that I should break it into 3 campaigns:

Campaign 1: BOF with 3 audience
• ATC || 180
• ATC || 300D
• TOP 25% || Website Visitors
Campaign 2: MOF Audience with 3 Ad-sets
• Website Visitors || 180D
• FB Engagers || 180D
• IG Engagers || 180D
Campaign 3: MOF + BOF || Stories format creatives
• Website || 180D
• Engagers || 180D
However, I find this a bit outdated as I usually don’t break the audience segments that much down but just go broad and let the algorithm do its job. What are your thoughts here?
