Hi guys, I’m trying to figure out how this GWP option for first time customers works… it’s the best i’ve ever seen. Basically all new customers get a ‘free gift’ automatically applied at checkout as soon as they enter their email address. Does anyone know how it’s done? I think it might involve some sort of custom ‘cart transform function’ - but i’m really not sure?

I'm Hugo, co-founder of - based in south west london. I started our store with my now wife Lizzie back in 2016. We sell products for curly hair (styling products and accessories). It's been running several years now, but we started as a fun side hustle and now have a team over 17+. Sorry... software i guess a system that is more user friendly than an excel sheet. We want our team to be able to plug in their hours, and then everyone gets an quick visualisation of who's covering which hours. We could just use a spreadsheet, but i wondered if there are other systems that are popular amongst teams of 12-15px

Question... how does everyone here manage team scheduling? We're trying to get a system that works with our CX and content team - especially over the holidays, where people can jump on and see who's working which shifts etc. Looking for something that is clear, easy to use, and cost effective...

For this specific promo there was no minimum spend. Email only - warehouse handled the additional gift in shipments

also, use remember to use shopify flow to create a tag for those customers that should have had the gift added but didn't (some always slip through the net). Then our warehouse can pick those up by tag, and add the gift manually - to prevent CX issues

BUT we do usually for our regular GWP offers. Best way is to use scripts then use an app called EasyGift to auto add the product to cart (based on certain parameters - eg. over a certain cart value). It works pretty well
