We send out a 'first 500 customers get a free hair clip' email this morning to announce full access to our BF sale... Had 900+ orders before 12pm. Thanks for that one @Moiz Ali and @Nik Sharma
Do you use any kind of indicator in the cart for the free gift? I’ve been wanting to do this but can’t figure out an app that allows me to show a free gift that isn’t in my product listings
Not for this. Email only, and told them it would be popped in their shipments at our warehouse.
BUT we do usually for our regular GWP offers. Best way is to use scripts then use an app called EasyGift to auto add the product to cart (based on certain parameters - eg. over a certain cart value). It works pretty well
also, use remember to use shopify flow to create a tag for those customers that should have had the gift added but didn't (some always slip through the net). Then our warehouse can pick those up by tag, and add the gift manually - to prevent CX issues
Gotcha. That makes sense for a product that you already have listed.
I really want to do free minis (that I don’t sell regularly) and have the cart show that they’re getting a free mini. It’s probably a custom code solution
What did they have to spend to get the free hair clip?
There are a lot of gift with purchase apps, no need to code @Valeriya K
@Sebastyan Meixger I’ve looked through most of them, but they don’t really offer an option to have an in-cart indicator of a freebie unless it’s one that’s listed in your product inventory. Since I don’t sell my minis, they’re not listed, and most apps won’t let you use ones that are in draft. Or if I want to gift something fun but slightly unrelated to my products, I haven’t seen an app offer that.
For this specific promo there was no minimum spend. Email only - warehouse handled the additional gift in shipments
Hi @Hugo Lewis - nice! Could you share the title and preview you used in the email?
Did you you send it to leads (non-customers) and customers?
How many emails do you have?
