Hi @here - any recommendations for recruitment agencies in Poland? We are looking to make some
in Poland and could use some local support. Any intros / recs would be much appreciated!#ask-the-community - January 22, 2025 at 06:08 PM
@Kasper - LABFRESH awesome - thanks for sharing Kasper

@Lars van der Wijst we've taken the plunge on TV advertising in the UK and had good results there. Happy to chat if you want to DM

@Kasper - LABFRESH super interesting on print. When you say 2nd largest channel = print, is 100% on DM / Catalogue? Or are you also doing other print advertising (in magazines, etc.)

@Patrick Crowley awesome! Should have access now

Hi @here
• This role has potential to convert to perm. We are hybrid working -- 3 days a week in our London office (Chancery Lane).
• We're willing to consider remote candidates for the contract role (but they would not be eligible to convert to perm if not able to be in office 3x per week)
• If you have worked with any rock-star candidates, please DM! JD attached - thanks!

Super interesting. @Floris GdG do you have a standardized slide / 1 pager that everyone fills out?

@here Any folks who are multi-market (UK + Europe) and have experience / tips around organizing their teams by market? We are getting to the stage where I need dedicated country managers for our biggest markets (UK and DE) and trying to figure out the best way to structure this 'matrix' without creating a bunch of mini-marketing teams that are overleveraged and missing out on economies of scale. Would love to chat if others have tackled this!

We're in the similar ballpark as Anders for the UK. I definitely think it's a worthwhile long-term play to offset rising costs of paid media. It can feel like an investment in the short-term but we've seen positive ROI within <12 months and it has as snowball effect
We use an agency (Novos) since it's requires multiple specialisms (content, digital PR, tech) and easier to pay / manage 1 agency vs hiring 3 people to do this
If you compare your monthly spend on Meta / Google, it's a relatively small (and fixed) fraction of that

@Fred - Out'n'About agree with above that if you're doing this all in-house then spreadsheet tracking is usually the best bet.
We have worked with Influence Room in the UK, which is a relatively inexpensive platform for sourcing and tracking influencers

Super interesting JD - thanks for sharing!

Welcome Volkert!
#supply-chain - August 28, 2024 at 11:32 AM
Yes full time - but like I said always wears a few other hats / takes on other projects given team size
#supply-chain - August 28, 2024 at 08:59 AM
It's a combination of vendor mgmt & contract negotiation (both inbound and outbound), procurement, supply / inventory planning and mgmt, working with CX on customer issues, returns, etc. and working cross-functionally on new product launches
#discount-codes - August 27, 2024 at 05:48 PM
Hey all - happy to offer 20% off at
-- you can use the code VENICE20. If you are interested in a different market, give me a shout!#supply-chain - August 27, 2024 at 05:32 PM
@Patrick Crowley We do have a dedicated logistics / supply chain manager. Aside from last mile delivery, we do a lot of our logistics and warehousing in-house so it's needed. That said, problby ~30% of their time is spent on other ops related projects
#introductions - August 27, 2024 at 03:16 PM
They're a game changer - especially if you've got kids or pets! Let me know if you need a discount code @Stu Macdonald

Hi all! I'm Clay and I lead
• Ruggable is HQ'd in the US. I was the 'founding' international hire (see what I did there) about 3 years ago
• Our Europe HQ is in London - I'm in Chancery Lane 3x per week if anyone is in the area
• We're made-to-order and have a factory up in Birmingham which serves our UK and Europe customers
• We're currently trading in the UK, Germany, Austria, France, Netherlands -- and we just launched in Sweden, Denmark and Finland --- any folks who have cracked Germany and France (especially when it comes to localization) -- I'd love to chat!
Thanks @Patrick Crowley for the invite and to @Fred - Out'n'About for putting us in touch. Excited to connect!
