We’ve recently switched to Braintree (PayPal) for better rates, which has significantly reduced our costs. However, one challenge we’re facing is that Shopify Payments provides a currency converter, making it easier to expand into new markets.

With Braintree, all transactions remain in the original setup currency. Does anyone know a good workaround to ensure that customers can check out in their local currency? We’ve tried using an app, but it only changes the currency on the webshop, while the checkout still requires payment in Euros.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Would love to hear your experiences!
