Hi all. I want to find the optimum price for our hero product. How can I create a test to achieve this? Any tools to use?

Perhaps I'm thinking to simple but what I usually do is this: run a new price for a week and check your total 7 days profit after ad costs. Preferably you run this test in a "normal" week, a week without external factors impacting sales like holidays, hot weather, etc. Unless you can't get an easy overview of profit per product, you might need a tool but I don't have a recommendation for that

We used Intelligems, I think there is something cheaper in the market now. But it was wild

That’s what I’m currently looking at @Kasper - LABFRESH. Did jt do the job?

With shopify intelligems is great. its a little expensive, but works direcly with your shopify data, so its really valuable data. there is price testing in the more expensive variant, but with thebasic you can run template tests and do a AB test between lower and higher price and see what it does to your AOV, CR etc..

if you want a free tool, you can use mira, but that works with GA4 if you have set that up really well, its fine to use. otherwise data is really shit.. and takes very long time.

Yea the testing worked well, both for hero products and shipping prices. The results did however keep being mixed, so we didn’t end up making big changes

Gotcha makes sense. How long did you run your test for?

Kasper - LABFRESH May 28, 2025 at 11:38 AM

3 months for shipping pricing, 6 months for hero product. We tested shirt pricing at 99+109+119 ¨

We did some small tests with curvature.ai , very responsive founder and easy to set up, and a bit more price friendy. Happy to make an intro!

@Thijs Roelofs That looks good! Intro would be great thanks
