Hey, question for founders that offer Black Friday sales: Biggest lesson you’ve learned from previous Black Friday’s and how will you apply that this year?

It's a big topic for us, ultimately our Nov/Dec cohorts (even if acquired on sale) are very healthy and show a strong LTV, so I am of the opinion that it's important to play the game at this time. We focus on better margin products and a big winner for us is our 'mystery boxes' which we can build with a mix of better margin or indeed slower moving products, they help a lot with customer retention. Black friday itself a straight sitewide discount wins every time (we've tried lots of different iterations... )
