Hey @here we got last minute help from our supplier to finance a container of products going to the USA and one to Canada. We’re not yet on Shopify plus. We will need to integrate with our 3PLs in both Canada and the Us (and currently UK). Would it be easiest to just set up two new stores, one for each geography, or would it be easier to move to Shopify plus? What do you reccomend?

You can set up different 3PLs in the same store without being on Shopify plus! That's the setup we have at the moment

The. we need different products for each location right? Ie can you have seperate stock locations for separate markets but for the same product, without Shopify plus?

No same product! This is a screenshot example of one of ours

Thanks! How does that integrate with markets though? Ie can you say USA only takes orders from a certain location?

yes you normally can set up rules with your 3PL software so they only import from a certain shipping address

so it can even be more granular than just market split

Sorry more questions… what will a customer based in the US see if we are OOS of the US location? Can I huddle you quickly, in about 15 mins?

yes sure! That is something we're actually investigating at the moment so I don't have an answer yet but can revert when we do!

actually I take it back - I found the fix! You just have to set up different shipping zones under the correct warehouse

Ah ok cool thanks!
