I've noticed our order volume and Avg order size are trending down the last month and a half. Anyone else seeing similar? I'm trying to diagnose it as a "me" problem or something more systemic with the economy. Right now, we primarily sell within the US.

#ai-dtc - November 26, 2024 at 10:38 PM

Our products are fairly large and heavy. Shipping to places like Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico is pricy. Should we only offer free shipping to the contiguous 48 states? Or should we just eat the cost when shipping to the states further away?

#marketing-creatives-lp - July 27, 2024 at 03:42 PM

We have a new version of our product coming out and I would like to start utilizing influencers more. We sell baby products and the mom-influencer world is huge. However I get confused with how we should go about it.

It seems like there are a few different avenues. We could pay influencers to make distinct ad posts, we could pay influencers to do more “stealth” ads where they just incorporate our product in their page, or we could pay them to make more “UGC” style videos that would benefit us on our website and ads. Does this sort of encompass the different avenues people most often use influencers in their marketing mix?

We are still small so I am planning on manually reaching out to influencers. Should we plan on paying them per post/UGC video? Do you do up front payment + affiliate commission? How have you been able to get the most value out of influencers or what has been most effective?

I’m trying to wrap my head around all this, but I might be making it more complicated than it actually is.

If anyone has good resources in mind, feel free to pass them along.

We have had a couple hiccups here and there and it would be nice to have more visibility into actual costs and tracking. I don't think our volume right now justifies it since we really only have overseas shipments about once a month. However, I feel we are close to where it would make sense

#ai-dtc - July 21, 2024 at 11:14 AM

At what point does it make sense to move away from DDP shipping provided by a manufacturer and start using your own freight forwarding?

#general-chat - July 02, 2024 at 02:18 PM

Through GS1

#general-chat - July 02, 2024 at 02:18 PM

I think 100 SKU would be $750, which isn't cheap but then you'd also have a bunch leftover to use down the road

#general-chat - July 02, 2024 at 02:17 PM

It might be worth just getting SKU for them since it isn't a crazy high number.

#general-chat - July 02, 2024 at 11:40 AM

How many SKU is it?

#ops-supply-chain - June 29, 2024 at 04:23 PM

I think almost all page builders would require you to rebuild the pages in their ecosystem.

#marketing-cx-cs-retention - June 19, 2024 at 08:58 PM

@Jacob Elbaum That's why I am asking. All it would really take is data from pre and post implementation of a post purchase email strategy.

#general-chat - June 19, 2024 at 08:25 PM

I'm curious how these rates you are getting compare to the rates Shopify offers?

#marketing-cx-cs-retention - June 13, 2024 at 07:47 PM

I'm curious if anyone has stats on what percent of their customer LTV or returning customers in general is attributed to email vs customers who would have come back on their own without any prompting? We sell a product that isn't a subscription/consumable, but customers do come back to buy more of it over time.

#ops-supply-chain - June 12, 2024 at 10:40 AM

I'd say judge me replaces okendo, and upcart/aftersell could replace rebuy.

#self-promotion - June 11, 2024 at 06:04 PM

@Charles Tichenor IV Thanks, will do!

#self-promotion - June 11, 2024 at 04:55 PM

Hey Charlie, I'm running your one campaign blueprint for evergreen and it's doing pretty well. Would you recommend a separate campaign for sales (calendar based like memorial day, BFCM, etc.) and then just turning on the relevant ads during the sales period?

Also, if I wanted to dabble with ASC, should I start a new campaign with my same winning creatives from the original evergreen campaign?

#marketing-paid - June 11, 2024 at 04:32 PM

Meta has been pretty brutal the last week. Anyone else seeing the same?

#marketing-paid - June 11, 2024 at 01:37 AM

Are these single ads, or dynamic creative tests?

#marketing-paid - June 11, 2024 at 01:35 AM

What does "V" stand for here?

#general-chat - June 07, 2024 at 03:39 PM

@Aaron Alpeter Really liked the lovevery episode, especially since we are in the baby space. Just subscribed!

#general-chat - June 06, 2024 at 07:05 PM

Oh and DTC pod is good

#general-chat - June 06, 2024 at 07:05 PM

how I built this, and even GaryVee when I'm feelin down 🙂

#general-chat - June 06, 2024 at 07:04 PM

Limited Supply, Operators, marketing operators, common thread collective, chew on this

#general-chat - June 06, 2024 at 01:04 PM

That does sound insane

#marketing-creatives-lp - June 04, 2024 at 04:02 PM

We have liked upcart

#marketing-paid - June 04, 2024 at 12:12 PM

If you're selling something, run conversion as your objective. Also, test broad targeting as well rather than selecting interests.

#general-chat - May 28, 2024 at 10:25 AM

Thanks! Do you work with a local supplier to get the shipping boxes? What do your individual boxes for the balls cost?

#general-chat - May 27, 2024 at 01:15 PM

For those of you that have cardboard retail packaging, how much are you paying per box? These are not shipping boxes, just the boxes that hold your product. We are getting quoted at $.37 per box and it seems like a decent price, but I don't have a ton of experience with it.

#general-chat - May 24, 2024 at 09:16 PM

@Jacob Thomas Interesting, when I go to the pricing tool, the lowest price is $600/mo

#general-chat - May 24, 2024 at 02:27 PM

I don't reshow for days

#announcements - May 23, 2024 at 06:18 PM

Noice thanks

#announcements - May 23, 2024 at 06:12 PM

Is there a link to the recording for this?

#ai-dtc - May 23, 2024 at 05:34 PM

Ours has some LTV but we are not selling a consumable. AOV about $80.

#ai-dtc - May 23, 2024 at 03:16 PM

@Stewart Thanks for the input!

#ai-dtc - May 23, 2024 at 12:06 PM

Curious how you all handle situations where customers enter an incorrect shipping address.

There are two scenarios, one is the product is returned to us as undeliverable. The other is the product is delivered to the correct address as the customer entered, but it doesn't reach the customer since the address was wrong.

For the first scenario, we normally invoice the customer for the cost of shipping and just resend the package.

For the second, I'm not quite sure the best route. I don't feel like we should have to bear the full burden of losing the first product, sending another, and paying shipping.

I'd appreciate any input!

#general-chat - May 22, 2024 at 10:11 AM

Was this recorded by chance?

#marketing-creatives-lp - May 21, 2024 at 03:51 PM

Just be transparent with your customers and let them decide

#marketing-creatives-lp - May 10, 2024 at 12:57 PM

I think you could either do this in a page builder like replo where there is a sticky bar on the bottom. I use upcart drawer and it does both the small bubble cart button on the bottom in addition to un cart upsells

#general-chat - May 07, 2024 at 02:12 PM

@Lovro Knavs Hey if you could send it my way that would be appreciated!

#general-chat - May 03, 2024 at 12:27 PM

@Bradley Knotts As Sara mentioned, I would keep the entire popup/email flow within your email tool. Replo has a popup function but it doesn't really integrate with email.

#general-chat - May 02, 2024 at 08:34 PM

Ya for Replo an extra $70 a month was worth it. I pay 2x more for replo than I do Shopify 😅

#general-chat - May 02, 2024 at 06:47 PM

I went from gempages to replo. Replo feels similar but works better

#podcast-limited-supply - May 02, 2024 at 10:59 AM

Sounds like it is not publicly available

#general-chat - April 26, 2024 at 12:08 PM

For something like that, I'd probably default to searching Alibaba and getting samples from a few manufacturers.

#marketing-paid - April 26, 2024 at 12:06 PM

Isn't 2023 and Q1 2024 what we are interested in, not necessarily 2022?

#marketing-paid - April 24, 2024 at 06:53 PM

I typically pair the CTA to the intent of the landing page. Sales focused (buy now) landing pages get Shop Now, and listicles like "5 Reasons Why People are Switching to XYZ" get a Learn More

With that said, still worth a test for your audience.

#marketing-creatives-lp - April 20, 2024 at 05:54 PM

Overall the website looks nice, but right off the bat I think the hero and following section could do a better job outlining concisely what it is and who it is for.

#ops-supply-chain - April 19, 2024 at 11:48 AM

I think the best resolution would probably be some sort of credit towards your next billing cycle rather than a refund. That way Klayvio doesn't have to see money come out of their bank, and you reclaim some of the unused funds.

#marketing-creatives-lp - April 19, 2024 at 11:42 AM

I give them the code right in the popup after entering their email to avoid friction and let them purchase as fast as possible. Additionally, the email with the discount is sent immediately upon entering their email. After that, we have a flow that goes to them if they have not purchased.

#marketing-cx-cs-retention - April 18, 2024 at 01:57 PM

Gempages was ok, but really for us, saving $70 a month wasn't worth the decrease in landing page look and functionality.
