Depends on the business but i'd hire a mid-level paid social expert that can manage the full funnel: performance creative, media buying, and landing pages.
Definitely "try before you buy" first to ensure mutual fit. The first hire is a big one, and you want to do the due diligence to get it right.
Also, if the founders don't have any ecomm/marketing experience, you may want to hire a more senior head of growth who is willing to flex down in to the responsibilities i outlined above

Hey all, experiencing a google merchant center account suspension due to "inaccurate product availability". I can't figure out what the issue is and all the examples they shared in their suspension notice were in-stock and have been for a while. This is the error they mentioned across all cited products:
Value on the landing page - v:out_of_stock
Value in the data feed - v:in_stock
Has anyone encountered this issue before / would be able to help resolve? More than happy to pay for your time if you've dealt with this before and can help— our entire business runs on Google Shopping so of course this is a big deal!

Hey everyone, I'm Jai and I run a vetted talent marketplace for e-commerce called . I launched the business ~7 months ago after operating on the brand side for a few years.
The most popular request from brands I have is vetted Shopify developers, so we're going to be entering into that space in the next month or so.

Performance-based, but need to be looking at the right metrics. Sometimes immediate revenue from a post isn't the right thing to look at.
I used a combination of directly attributed revenue as well as lift studies to understand the impact of influencer spend on other channels, like brand search, paid social efficacy, organic conversions, etc but that approach requires a good amount of spend.
If lower levels of spend, then it might be a bit more "art" than "science"

Looking for a good Shopify theme for a CPG brand with <10 SKUs and in the food/snacking space.
Ideally one that has some CRO basics like:

Yeah I used it at Winc. We didn't show it at our checkout, but we advertised on others, so we essentially paid a CAC for it. Worked well, but seasonally, and definitely not the lowest marginal CAC channel.

It depends on rate of acquisition and average member age. As you grow, this will be higher (>20%) as early members tend to churn at a higher rate.
At scale, I’d expect this to be about 6-10% (averaged across all members)

Love the copy, value props, social proof, before and after, and satisfaction guarantee.
One thing I think could be improve is the hero image— I think an image that showcases someone using the product would be REALLY powerful.
