<@U07UXLNTEMA> if you’re running Shopify plus, we don’t use discount codes. Particularly helpful if you want to avoid discount stacking. But it’s using functions only available to Shopify plus unfortunately.
For non-plus it does use discounts but we’ve optimized it pretty heavily to avoid gaming or glitches.

I’d consider the timing of these offers as a way to preserve margin vs. just blanket on each order.
Two things we’ve seen brands do successfully here:
1. They have a segment that targets subscription churn or downsell. (We have segments for this in our platform)
2. They look at their repeat purchase data to see where the subs start to see a decline and target those specific points to lift the curve

@Jocelyn Dunkley depending on what they’re wanting to do there, we may be able to help at Raleon with the loyalty part of our platform.
We do support points, but because of our flexible rules and rewards, we have a number of brands that use orders more specifically to reward customers. They do that what we call purchase milestones.
For instance: they automatically grant a customer a free item with their second purchase after their first to help drive the second. Then another on 3rd, etc. No points involved.

@Sambhav Chadha suggestion is probably the simplest path. We’ve helped a few brands around this. Discount stacking can get super tricky. His B option might look weird to the shopper is the only downside there.
If you’re running Shopify plus, there’s a few other options available. But it will require an app.

I'm not familiar with the product, but one common way I've seen this handled is through bundling. This can boost your AOV (helping you get to more profitable CAC) but also preserve the quality as the reason for the discount is because of bulk vs. just general discounting.

With continued changes from google I'm not sure how much it will continue to matter, but generally top level domains generate better SEO because of the shared domain authority. This is why you often don't see folks with
but insteadIt let's them get more out of the SEO "juice" flowing to the domain.

@Jeremy Watson If it's helpful, we'd be happy to help with part of that. As well as the "surprise and delight" side like a gift on 3rd purchase, etc. We've seen this quite successful with different customers of ours. Not sure if Seal supports that natively or not.

I am not familiar with Seal Subscriptions, but every one of our customers has been switching from Recharge. The priority tends to be:

• Prive

Late to this, but we've had a few customers switch from Recharge to Skio. They all seem very happy with the switch.
We also found Skio much faster/easier to integrate with.
