If you looking for something affordable that doesn’t take a % of rev or upgrade your plans based on amount of revenue you make…. Checkout Dynamatic app.

It offers upsells, cart, bundles, ugc videos, discounts, ab testing, recommendations and over 80+ different widgets for all of Shopify pages. Every widget is tied to an audience so you can show one offer to one set of users and something different to someone else. Literally can show a home page banner only to users who have bought product A and are in California as an example….

If you want to try something pretty cool, have a look at https://apps.shopify.com/navidium-cart-and-upsells

It’s replaces rebuy fully including cart, post purchase, and has 80+ widgets to use across all of the site including thank you page. Every widget is tied to audiences so you can easily set up a calendly like thing on thank you page or similar but only for certain products etc.

I’m one of the co founders and we built it because I got so sick of having dozens of apps that don’t talk to each other etc. the goal is to replace as many apps as possible in one engine.

Even if we don’t have an exact widget you need for this, as long as it makes semi sense, our team will happily build it for you as well as provide support via slack to help migrate any other apps and offers into dyna for you.

We built a very powerful app that replaces a ton of other apps in one. One of the cool features we did is we built into our customizable slide out cart a saved cart feature. But not only does it handle saving and moving items, but all those items are stored and can then be pulled into one of our other widgets so you can remarked to them with their saved items on post purchase upsells, checkout extensions, or even a carousel on home page on a repeat visit.

Happy to show it to you if you interested in seeing more.

@John Dyall we have a lot of merchants in your space using Navidiumapp.com and they all do extremely well with their own protection vs using some 3rd party.

#marketing-creatives-lp - July 12, 2024 at 12:31 PM

We offer this in Dynamatic app but even more robust since it also manages the discounts and you can also offer different versions to different users based on audiences and next week even klaviyo audiences. But the slide cart is also just a tiny piece of the app since it also supports post purchase upsells, bundles, and 65+ different widgets.

#ops-supply-chain - July 12, 2024 at 12:16 PM

I do a ton with functions in our app Dynamatic. The awesome thing about functions is that you don’t need plus for it so any plan can use functions if it is run in a public app.

So for example we can discount any item to free and auto add it to cart for free gift with purchase based on rules.

We can discount based on utms, audiences, and next week even if someone is or isn’t in a klaviyo audience.

Some more interesting stuff I’ve done with functions in our app:

Buy one item and pick 2-3 items from collection X for set doscount.

Volume discounts

Discounts for influencer referrals without coupon codes

Discount items in a group to a set price regardless of starting price.

So many fun stuff

@Sua I've been doing this for years but utilizing UTM's instead. Generally, cloaking is used for nefarious reasons not for A/B testing. But def UTM's is probably a safer way than having a "master" link.

I built an entire engine to allow UTM's to change offers, sections on a theme, and even control how the cart looks. All I have to do is switch one UTM and keep using the same Post ID.

Love tabby! ❤️

There is a ton of apps that do the same thing. I’m so against apps that charge a % of revenue etc. this is something that should be flat fee.

I’ve built an app that does all of that and a ton more both for checkout, cart, post purchase upsells and more.

Our audiences are more robust as well, and it’s a flat monthly fee vs based off how much revenue you make which is a business model that should be taken to the back of the barn …..

I’m happy to show you my app any time, and even give you a month or more free to try it and go crazy. But even if you don’t use mine, Shopify bought checkout blocks which does basically the same as checkmate and they have a free plan as well now.

#ops-supply-chain - July 02, 2024 at 05:52 PM

Idk if this will help, but I added a feature to one of my apps that we call sections everywhere. The idea was sort of instead of having to build out custom pages on a builder I would use my theme sections and move them around and show them on certain products based on logic.

So basically the app can render any theme section on any page based on audiences, rules, etc. this means I can actually create a custom landing page but have it be fully native sections. You do this by essentially having a sections page that I customize all the sections on and then use the app to ab test sections etc.

Of course the app does a hell of a lot more, but it was an idea I had, and rolled it out.

But in general stick to the bigger CRO moves rather than just minor color changes etc

Happy to chat if you want. We released an app called Dynamatic app recently. I got so fed up with having to have 20 apps in my stores, and none of the apps talking to each other or being flexible enough to do what I wanted them to do.

Dynamatic is sort of an entire merchandising engine. We have a customizable cart, checkout extensions, post purchase upsells, bundles, discounting and everything in between all built in.

The idea was to be able to replace dozens of apps with one set of code. But more importantly, every single widget of ours (65+ and counting) can be set to specific audiences you build out based on your store data, traffic, user behavior etc. so new customers vs repeat, product behavior, browser type, utm parameters etc.

I went so crazy that I even built in a wishlist into the cart as a save cart feature that you can then take those saved items and market to the customer in different touch points like checkout, order status, even a carousel on home page on return visits.

Basically it’s probably one of the most powerful apps in the App Store, and we’ve just quietly come out of beta, but still adding new features almost every single week.

I’m happy to show you around it any time you like.

Some examples:

> Free gift with purchase (including having us actually making the item free via Shopify functions)
>
> Gamified tier bar with gifts, discounting, shipping tiers etc
>
> Banners: add banners to any page based on audience so different customers can see different banners you upload from canva or photo shop, and can load them based on utms etc. ie. Welcome influencer fans with a banner with influencer photo and quote etc
>
> bundles: volume bundles, frequently bought together etc including cart prompts
>
> 6 post purchase upsell templates
>
> list, carousel, single upsells including interstial type like one click upsell made famous back in the day. Can include discounts or not, all using functions but can also be done with discount codes
>
> order notes, gift wrapping (including option to charge for it) surcharges, add one, etc
>
>
I can honestly do this all day, since we literally add new widgets every single week.

In a few days we launching a klaviyo integration so you can trigger any widgets based on a klaviyo audience as well not just our own built in options.

#marketing-creatives-lp - July 02, 2024 at 05:31 PM

Anyone do a lot with influencers and discount codes? Been working on a tool inside one of our apps, and just want to run it by some folks for some feedback etc. welcome to dm me if preferred.

#ops-supply-chain - April 09, 2024 at 07:55 AM

I'm the founder of a bunch of different apps, (Navidium, Promo Pirates) and now I released what we call Dynamatic App.

Essentially it is my idea of creating a data management platform that collects all your data, and then let's you build complex segments based on those data sets.

But the real kicker is that we allow you to create over 50+ different customizable widgets across the entire site, including a custom slide out cart, checkout (plus only), thank you page, product pages, etc.

Basically it eats up like a ton of the typical apps you might already have, and provides everything in one place, all audience driven. Sort of like what would happen if you had FB ads like platform built into your store for internal use.

Our cart really does put apps like Rebuy Smart Cart, Monster Cart, Upcart, etc to shame, if only because of the highly flexible nature of how we set it up.

The app is in a soft beta, so free to beta users for min 2-3 months, with dedicated support from our team so we can not only help set up, design, and provide support, but also build custom widgets you may need etc. If it is possible, makes sense, we will usually build it within 3-4 days.

App is here: https://apps.shopify.com/navidium-cart-and-upsells

It is new, and all the merchants using it are still what we call "Beta users".

Ps: Every widget can be AB tested, can be different for different users. Some widgets include:

> Upsells (Carousel, single, list, etc
>
> Tiered Bar with Free Shipping, Free Gifts, Discounts (built in)
>
> Free Gift with Purchase (Including selecting choices)
>
> Dynamic Bundles + Frequently Bought Together
>
> Custom Banners (change any banner on a per user basis)
>
> Post Purchase Upsells (built in)
>
> Coming Soon: Display any theme section based on user audiences

IF you think this is something you['d like to test, DM me 🙂 I'll happily have you as a beta user!

So you burn and dump

#ops-supply-chain - April 03, 2024 at 09:00 PM

For newsletters you’ll want a bunch of sub domains and keep warming and swapping them out

#ops-supply-chain - April 03, 2024 at 09:00 PM

I think for transactional and cs you can use the same

#ops-supply-chain - April 03, 2024 at 08:56 PM

It’s an absolute must, and should be what everyone does asap or they in for a fun surprise. Already now I see almost daily posts from merchants complaining that their cs emails are landing in spam.

#general-chat - March 18, 2024 at 05:27 PM

I’d be happy to show you what our app Dynamatic can do. We don’t just offer icons like that, you can show or not show them based on audiences you create so that you maximize every inch of real estate. We also include post purchase upsells, a customizable cart, and a ton of other amazing features.

#general-chat - March 18, 2024 at 05:25 PM

In one of the founders of Navidium where you as the merchant keep 100% of what you collect. We built Navidium after getting frustrated with how insurance apps with making a killing on the back of merchants. Since then tons have popped up many who do rev share as well but still keep a hefty chunk.

With Navidium it is all 100% yours and thousands of merchants use us because of our robust reporting, automation, integrations etc,

We also just released Navidium Returns which will connect to the same backend and offer both returns and shipping protection with some top tier features to compete with the likes of Loop, Aftership, ReturnGo and the rest.

Happy to answer any questions!

Kinda feel really happy about this humble brag. 2 years ago I built an app that blocked coupon extensions from auto injecting codes in checkout. Shopify killed us when they launched extensible checkout. 2 weeks ago we hacked a way to be able to block coupon extensions like honey, capital one shipping, etc again for shopify plus stores. Now we revived an app i thought that would forever be dead 🙂

Huge win for merchants who otherwise have been forced to deal with leaked codes, and greedy extensions stealing all their margin without actually coming from an influencer, affiliate, or even giving up their email/sms. 🙂

#ops-supply-chain - December 04, 2023 at 12:25 AM

Look into shop2app. I know the founder well, and they have really competitive pricing.

#ops-supply-chain - December 04, 2023 at 12:23 AM

You should be able to downgrade the plan I believe regardless of the contract, so at the very least downgrade to the lowest possible plan.

In fact, depending how the contract is worded, you might be able to argue that the free plan = a plan as well. I'd def have a lawyer review their contract for any loopholes to get out of it.

I've been so vocal for years about how un"trust" worthy they are. Reminds me of the old days with reseller ratings.

#ops-supply-chain - December 04, 2023 at 12:17 AM

@Danny C thanks for your support! Can't begin to formalize how much it means to myself + our whole team at Navidium.

#ops-supply-chain - December 04, 2023 at 12:16 AM

If anyone needs any help or has any questions about Navidium, I'm one of the founders. I've been in the e-com game for the last 17 years (most of which was merchant side) and so I love nothing more than working with merchants directly. I'm also personally being sued by Route so let's just say I have a pretty tight understanding of the landscsape. I'm available here or via email directly marc@ecompropeller.com|marc@ecompropeller.com
