Hey Everyone,
I'm just curious right now we've got all of our fulfillment in US but are breaking into the AU & NZ area and getting quoted 15$-20 per order to ship over there. Is this normal? What are some other possible solutions to lower shipping costs?

I'm sure @Chad Michael Carleton or @Matt Hertz - ThirdPerson.co can help here

If you’re looking to ship crossborder from the US that rate doesn’t seem terrible to me (obviously don’t know your weight or product). Is this inclusive or exclusive of duties?

Thanks Deb! To @Aaron Alpeter’s point, it seems reasonable, but there are a few other variables to consider.

While it might be worth considering fulfillment locally in AU/NZ, I'd be interested in knowing volumes, weights, SKU complexity, etc. Feel free to DM, happy to help navigate! Could be alternative carriers here in the U.S. worth evaluating, otherwise we can consider opening dialogue with 3PLs overseas.

@Jasin Alubusi - you messaged the right people. I am a Beachhead Advisor (North American Logistics) for the New Zealand Trade Commission as well as running 3PL Hub. I'm happy to connect with you and give you some good Australian & NZ options. Here's my calendar: ryan@3plhub.co

@Jasin Alubusi you can checkout Locad for local fulfilment for AU/NZ. Great people and company and they can help you go to other geo's as well including Europe and Asia.
