Amazon

Roughly how long does it take for a brand to get set up on Amazon for the first time?
Depends on what your definition of set up is.
If you mean listing optimization, could take you a couple days.
If you mean ppc campaigns, that varies on how complex you want to be.
If you mean getting sales… that’s a variable that doesn’t have a definitive answer.
But share your questions here - guys like @Gurdeep Sahota, @Fred McKinnon, and I are always happy to help. :)
Meaning setting up a seller profile, getting inventory from 3PL to Amazon, and going live!
@Amanda Berg hey I’m sitting in the closing session at Sellers Summit but will reply in more detail soon. You don’t want to rush this. You can be live within a few days but as someone who has been on Amazon for 20+ years and as an agency owner managing dozens of other brands - I’ve seen a lot of hiccups. I’ll get you more info within 24 hours. Standby.
@Doğu - Amazon Ads Verified Partner thanks for the shoutout.
Hey @Amanda Berg, we typically need 60-90 days depending on the category. This would mean the skus have a completed listing, and inventory is in FBA ready to be bought. Jump into the dms if you wanna get into specifics?
This depends on the amount of listings you have. Inventory being sent to Amazon and the checking-in process can take 2 weeks alone. Otherwise, the real work is in the back-end process of the listing (flat files suck!)
Speculating you have 10-30 listings and inventory is local, I’d estimate 45 days max. @Amanda Berg
I think it can be done in a high quality way in 1-2 months easily if you don’t run into major hiccups (which can happen very unexpectedly with Amazon) and don’t have a very large number of listings to create.

Thanks all for the insight — much appreciated!
