Does anyone have any hacks for how to change brand name from “Generic” to the registered brand name for a listing that is already live?
I swear I did this easily with one of my companies, but now Amazon is saying I’d have to delete the listing in order to customize the new registered brand name.
Any suggestions?

@Joseph Pinney if you can do it via the automated system, it's best .. but that doesn't always work:
1 - Navigate to "Help" in the top corner, and type "brand name change" - just type that in the main search

Choose the recommended solution, and rebrand.

If that doesn't work - try flat file - and instead of using UPC as the identifier, use ASIN.
Finally, if all else fails, you can delete the listing, wait 24 hours (this is drastic if it's a huge seller) and relist. You will NOT lose reviews by doing this, as long as you use the same ASIN/UPC identifier.
Also - you can wait until the weekend, call Amazon Seller Support, ask to speak to teh catalog team, you have a good chance of getting USA or Brazil.
Or - ask to speak to someone in Spanish ... that will get you to Brazil usually, or Costa Rica, and a good team that has common sense (and authority).

Thanks! cc: @Joseph Pinney

@Fred McKinnon thank you 🙏

I had this issue when I launched my brand last year. I talked to support a few times and did a few flat file uploads. I think getting on the phone with support is what helped the most!
