Shopify discount question - how do you all configure your sitewide discounts, say for BFCM for example. currently we use an ‘order discount’ automatic discount in shopify. limitation being it only shows the discount at checkout (not on PDP or collections pages). we’ve made a workaround for our current theme, but don’t yet for the new theme we’re hoping to put live. and it has me questioning if we’re even doing this properly, because I’m suprised Shopify doesn’t natively display discounted pricing and strikeout pricing on pdps and collections.
have seen a few apps but they don’t look amazing.
I think to do that you need to bulk edit products and change the prices according to your discount, otherwise try some shopify app
ya didn’t want to bulk edit pricing for fear of all the discount stacking it opens up
Had the same problem, our janky solution was just to add a big text bar above the prices saying it will be discounted at checkout.
