Not sure who else has received Klaviyo's message about deprecating v1/v2 APIs.

As my store uses the Shopify/Klaviyo integration, is there any action to take on my part?

Would appreciate any developer insights. Thanks.

It shouldn't need any step at your end. Klaviyo's Shopify app is designed and managed by Klaviyo, so they should do all the updates they need.

Thanks Saps, that’s what I thought. Hence my confusion when I received an email from Klaviyo informing me of the need to migrate my APIs.

We had a few users reach out cos of that too. But in that email, they mentioned which apps use their outdated APIs. Did your email mention their own integration? 😆

hahaha it did not. It just mentioned my store (which is built on Shopify). And when I read their docs, Shopify wasn’t mentioned.

Good good. I wouldn't worry about it then. Must be a common email that sent everyone

Sounds good, thank you.

Make sure to reconnect any 3rd party attribution linked to Klav!

You can check if you're store is still using v1/v2 API in Klaviyo Developper Dashboard. In our case we were using an old version of the script on our frontend.

I would implement a pixel to solve this. I’ve been recommending Aimerce these days – I’ve found this to be the most effective, easiest to use, and transparent first party data pixel. Once you implement it, it automatically feeds the respective traffic to each Klaviyo flow. It works well in enhancing any audience data you need for Meta/Google ads too. @Shope Adeyemi @Peter Quadrel
