FYI, I’ve had great luck getting UGC ads from my influencer team. If we have an ad that performs well, I throw out the concept and $100 and whoever wants to create an iteration goes for it. This is the last one they made (purples) as well as the inspo (charcoal)… ROAS ~3

Great content. I love what you’ve done here. And when you say you throw out the concept and $100, who do you throw this out too? An influencer group you have or all customers? Thanks so much.

Yep! This is what we’re doing for our brands, essentially building our own in-house content army for teams that don’t have the bandwidth to do so themselves

@Dave Strangis We have a group of healthcare creators who each post a collab reel on a day of the week. We have a group DM where everyone shares ideas, challenges, etc and I try to introduce them to other brands when I can, give them projects like this, etc

Just search your niche on Instagram and TikTok and see who is making good content. I have found through trial and error that you get much better responses from people w 1k-15k followers on Instagram. People tend to respond to email best. People tend to respond to an offer of product with no strings attached best. I get responses from maybe 1 of 20 people. If you find a gateway person who will intro you to their circle of creators that is key. Also, we have had decent luck putting out a general ask on our socials. I have found you can tell pretty quickly which creators are genuine and generous and that is who we tend to work on. I am very generous w my time w them as well, give help where I can, send them equipment to be better creators, send product before it is release, and intro them to other brands when I can. It’s honestly been one of the funnest parts of the business so far. I look at it more as mentoring and mutual generosity than getting content out of people. Getting their input in your business is also great.
