For those of you who use a lot of influencer marketing, have you found a specific type of influencer content type that converts well?

I'm working with a nano influencer and I'm her first brand (I'm also pretty new to this type of marketing), and she's wondering how best to showcase my products. I have some ideas for what I want, but wanted to check in here and see if anyone had specifics/data on what works best!

@Valeriya K don’t overthink it! The more natural feeling the content is the better! Obviously I don’t know exactly what the product is, but simply just showcasing its best used case with a great hook is more than enough to get started and start learning what your audience will react to!

The Mr. Beast type where he’s giving away money.

@Alex 😂 I feel like this doesn’t necessarily attract a loyal base

I’ve worked with influencers (1m to 10m+), it’s actually quite loyal as long as you continue to have content (of certain quality) continually coming out. It’s a different strategy.

Though most business owners balk at such a strategy and also don’t have the vision to invest in such a manner.

I don’t really think it’s necessarily a lack of vision, but it does require:

  1. Ample funds (not necessarily accessible to smaller business owners)
  2. An influencer willing to do this. The types I work with focus more on giveaways of the types of items that their followers are following them for (in my case health/wellness

I’m not really knocking the strategy, but it does seem like it would be most effective if you already have a large enough following. I’m my personal experience, people will sign up just to win money, then pretty quickly ditch, even with high quality content (for example, I produce very in-depth research and lots of top-notch wellness content).

I could see myself partnering with an influencer to giveaway say, an Oura ring. They’re expensive, but it also fits into what my target audience would really want.
